Romero — Condra

Elana Kay “Lanie” Romero and Blair Anthony Condra were married Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Coteau. The bride is the daughter of Robert and Connie Dutil Romero of New Iberia. The groom is the son of Dennis and Fay Derouen Condra of New Iberia.

The Rev. Brian Harrington officiated the 6 p.m. ceremony.

Escorted by her father and her son, John Robert, the bride wore an ivory-colored lace cap sleeve illusion wedding dress featuring a boatneck and beaded lace appliques.

For her headpiece, she wore a fabric and tulle floral headpiece embellished with trails of pearls.

She carried a bouquet of mixed purple peonies, dahlias and hydrangeas with springs of lilac and pansies. Attached to her bouquet was her paternal grandmother’s cameo and her son’s rosary.

Serving as matron of honor was Crystal Landry Romero, sister of the bride, and as maid of honor, Shani Lynn Touchet, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jenae Condra Williams, sister of the groom, Cami Elizabeth Romero, godchild of the bride, Ashley Nicole Pellerin and Megan Elizabeth Bouzigard. Flower girl was Abigail Bodin, niece of the groom. Ring bear was Kale Girouard, nephew of the groom. Also serving were Cullen Bridges and Caden Bridges, nephews of the groom.

Serving as best man was Dustin Guillotte. Groomsmen were Cody Mullen, Cade Romero, godchild of the bride, Jeff Tankersley, Chris Boling and Ethan Williams, brother-in-law of the groom.

Everett VanDuzee, godfather of the bride, and Coty Romero, brother-in-law of the bride, served as ushers.

A reception for family and friends was held at the Veteran’s Memorial Building in New Iberia City Park.

The couple will reside in New Iberia.
