Brabner — Bourque

Catherine Reneé Brabner and Samuel James Bourque Sr. were married Saturday, March 26, 2016, at the home of the groom’s sister, Darlene and Patrick Mayeaux of New Iberia. The bride is the daughter of the late Mr. James R. Brabner Sr. and Mrs. Sheron F. Brabner. The groom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Bourque.

Judge Robert Segura officiated the 6 p.m. ceremony with a reading by the bride’s brother, Jimmy Brabner.

Escorted by two of her brothers, Ricky Brabner and Tony Brabner, the bride wore a soft white chiffon A-line gown with cap sleeves and floral applique.

For her headpiece, she wore a simple fingertip length veil made my Mrs. Evelyn Landry.

Serving as matron of honor was Angel Case. Junior bridesmaid was Gabrielle Brabner and the flower girl was Lauren Quoyeser, nieces of the bride.

Serving as best man was Eric H. Anderson. Groomsmen was Sammy Bourque, the groom’s son. The ring bearer was Nicholas Brabner, the bride’s nephew.

A reception for family and friends was held at the home of the groom’s sister, Darlene and Patrick Mayeaux of New Iberia.
