Hebert — Mengarelli

Geneé Nicole Hebert and Joshua Dane Mengarelli were married Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Dreams Resort, Riviera Maya, Mexico. The bride is the daughter of Horace “Hodgie” Hebert and Betsy Betar Hebert of Lafayette. The groom is the son of Genevieve Leger Causey of Port Barre and Dr. Steve Mengarelli and Kim Poleto Mengarelli of Baton Rouge.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a chapel length strapless modified sweetheart neckline gown finished with a scalloped eyelash trim and adorned throughout with beads, sequins and pearls.

For her headpiece, she wore a hair flower.

She carried a tropical bouquet of of birds of paradise, orange lillies, gerber daisy, blue delphinius and white roses.

Serving as matron of honor was Bria Mengarelli Majors, sister of the bride. Ring bearer was Miller Ray Majors.

Serving as best man was Steven Bourgoyne.

The week-long destination wedding trip was concluded with a reception for family and friends held at the Dreams Resort ballroom in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

Following a wedding trip to Puerto Morales, Mexico, the couple will reside in Oklahoma City.
