Mouledous — Porter

Emily Maria Mouledous and Joshua Manning Porter were married Friday, May 13, 2016, at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Abbeville. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Mouledous III of Abbeville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Courtland Porter of New Iberia.

The Rev. Louis J. Richard officiated the 7 p.m. ceremony.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory-colored sweetheart neckline gown with lace and tulle overlay and crystal beading around the waistline.

For her headpiece, she wore a one-tier fingertip ivory-colored veil outlined with crystals.

She carried a bouquet of ivory-colored roses, orchids and fuschia cabbage roses.

Serving as matron of honor was Leah Naquin. Bridesmaids were Ashley Mouledous, Mikaela Miller, Meredith Mouledous, Stephanie Roth, Brandi Mouledous and Danielle Guidry. Flower girls were Ella Claire Mouledous and Caroline Mouledous.

Serving as best man was Garret Porter. Groomsmen were Al Palmiano, Jonathon Smith, Jacob Porter, Brian Beyt, Paul Guidry and Andrew Mouledous.

Mark Mouledous, Robert Naquin Jr. and Matthew Mouledous served as ushers.

A reception for family and friends was held at Magdalen Place in Abbeville.

Following a wedding trip to Turks and Caicos, the couple will reside in Baton Rouge.
