Cajun Joke: Building contractor

Thib, a building contractor, let his nephew Tee Boudreaux work for him during the summer.

So dey drove to de lumber yard where Thib sent his nephew Tee Boudreaux to make a purchase while he waited in de truck.

Reading from his uncle’s list…he said, “Ah need 200 (2×4’s)

120 (1×8’s) & 240 (2×6’s).

De clerk waits a few seconds & asks, “How long”?  “How long do you want them”?

Tee pauses awhile den says, “Forever …. we’re building a house”.
