Boyance — Castex

Alyssa Kaye Boyance and Tremel Joseph Castex were married Saturday, May 21, 2016, at St. Joseph Cathedral in Baton Rouge. The bride is the daughter of Kenneth and Karen Boyance of New Iberia. The groom is the son of Monica and Jerry Delasbour of New Iberia and Keith Youman of New Iberia.

The Rev. Bob Stein officiated the 1:30 p.m. ceremony.

Given by her parents, the bride wore a drop-waist, fit and flare, sweetheart neckline gown featuring lace appliqué and embroidery and a chapel length train.

For her headpiece, she wore a cathedral veil with a scalloped hem of lace and beading.

She carried a bouquet of light lavendar freesia, silverstone roses, white O’hara garden roses and purple lisianthus.

Serving as matrons of honor were the brides sisters, Kennitra Boyance Robertson and Tonya Boyance Green. Bridesmaids were Kelbie Celestine, cousin of the groom, Kevinnie Dreher, cousin of the bride, Kamekia Frazier, Rachel Mitchell, Charla Ozenne and Hillary Thompson. Junior bridesmaids were Calviana Delsbour and Taybriana Delasbour, sisters of the groom. Flower girl was Kennedy Robertson, niece and godchild of the bride. Ring bearer was Logan Green, nephew and godchild of the bride.

Serving as best men were Donald Lewis and Donzel Savoy. Groomsmen were Jordan Jones, Chase Moore, Cody Raymond, cousin of the bride, Bryson Rhymes, Dylan Vincent and Tyrunn Walker. Junior groomsmen were Cameron Robertson and Jayden Green, nephews of the bride.

Troy Davis, Matthew Destouet and Akel Youman, brother of the groom, served as ushers.

A reception for family and friends was held at Louisiana Old State Capitol in Baton Rouge.
