LeBlanc — Compton

Raegan Michelle LeBlanc and Chase Michael Compton were married Friday, June 3, 2016, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Jeanerette. The bride is the daughter of Harold and Vicky LeBlanc of Jeanerette. The groom is the son of David and Maxine Compton of Jeanerette.

The Rev. Jody Simoneaux officiated the 7 p.m. ceremony.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a soft chiffon V-neck sheath gown with lace appliqué details and a ruffled back with a sweeping train.

For her headpiece, she wore a two-tier, mid-length veil lined with rhinestone trim.

She carried a bouquet of white lily, stephanotis and lily grass with white pearls and her late grandmother’s rosary wrapped in white tulle in a large straight bouquet holder.

Serving as maid of honor was Amanda Cooper. Bridesmaids were Lanie Ball, Apryl Bourque and Rebecca Compton. Junior bridesmaid was Abby Bourque.

Serving as best man was Cody Compton. Groomsmen were Ridge LeBlanc, Rusty Cooper and Matthew Russell.

Craig Perez and Ridge LeBlanc served as ushers.

A reception for family and friends was held at Ward 8 Recreation Center in Jeanerette.

The couple will reside in Jeanerette.
