Father’s pride shines on daughter

In time for Father’s Day, Lt. Col. Geri Robertson, the daughter of Walter and Leona Robertson, of New Iberia, has earned the Order of Military Medical Merit award. The award is for officers who have contributed to the U. S. Army Medical Department.

Robertson is now the chief patient administration consultant for Regional Health Command – Atlantic in Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

Robertson graduated from New Iberia Senior High School in 1987, then attended Louisiana Tech University and Louisiana State University – Shreveport. She also earned a master’s of management in human resources from Wayland University and graduated with honors.

In her 22 years of services, she has worked in Korea, Texas, Operation Iraqi Freedom, San Antonio and Virginia, where she resides.
