Romero — Malagarie

Lani Michelle Romero and Blaine Michael Malagarie were married Friday, Sept. 23, 2016, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Broussard. The bride is the daughter of Chris and Wendy Mouton of New Iberia and Charlie Romero of New Iberia. The groom is the son of Mike and Laurie Malagarie of Broussard.

The Rev. Bill Ruskoski officiated the ceremony.

Escorted by her father and stepfather, the bride wore a white gown with ruched organza bodice and an A-line skirt with beaded and pearl belt, lace and beaded sleeves.

For her headpiece, she wore a gold hair clip accented with rhinestones and pearls.

She carried a nosegay bouquet of blended pink, coral and peach-colored roses, peonies, gerbera daisies, calla lillies and buttercups accented with spider plant leaves and foliage wrapped in a glittered gold ribbon.

Serving as matron of honor was Shyla Romero and as maid of honor was Lindsey Malagarie. Bridesmaids were Kayla Hebert, Lori Roberts, Caitlin Mouton and Whitni Romero. Junior bridesmaid was Jenna Richie.

Serving as best men were Travis Romero and Ryan Stelly. Groomsmen were Cody Romero, Dominic Barthelemy Jr., Daniel Domingue and Trey Malagarie.

Christopher Mouton II and Ryan Domingue served as ushers.

A reception for family and friends was held at Cade Community Center in St. Martinville.

The couple will reside in Youngsville.
