Lorenz Victor Bassler

Lorenz Victor Bassler, known as Charley to his friends and family, left us in life November 4, 2016 in Houston with his family by his side.

Charley honorably served his country as an Airborne Ranger in the U.S. Army Special Forces.

Charley will be smiling down on us with a JD in his hand as friends and family celebrate his lifeb on Friday November 11, 2016 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Geo. H. Lewis and Sons, 1010 Bering Drive, in Houston. Military honors will commence at 1 p.m.

Charley is survived by his beloved wife, Sally Bassler; daughter Loran W. Bassler; son Erik Sean Bassler and wife Michelle; granddaughter Erika Bassler; brother Robert D. Bassler; brothers-in- law David Wormser and John Wormser and wife Adele; niece Katie Wormser; nephews Ben Wormser and wife Paige, Michael Wormser and wife Stacey, Jacob Wormser and wife Victoria, and Hal Wormser.
