Louisiana Music Educators Association selected through statewide auditions for the Louisiana All-State Women’s Chorale. New Iberia Senior High School student Sophie Broussard was chosen and performed at the LMEA Fall Conference held Nov. 17-19 in Baton Rouge. This year’s guest conductor was Dr. Lynne Gackle from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. The Women’s Chorale performed Nov. 18.
