Hebert — Chmurka

Kristen Elizabeth Hebert and Michael Patrick Chmurka were married Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016, at Immaculate Conception Jesuit Church in New Orleans. The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Corinne Hebert of Jeanerette. The groom is the son of Henry and Jane Chmurka of Gonzales.

The Rev. Frank J. Reale officiated the 11 a.m. ceremony.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a trumpet style ivory-colored, hand beaded and pearled gown adorned with French honeycomb lace with appliques of English lace embellished by crystals and finished with a Tiffany train.

For her headpiece, she wore a cathedral length veil enhanced with beaded stitched edging.

She carried a cascading bouquet of ivory-colored roses with accents of pink larkspur, white lisianthus, ranuculus and snapdragons.

Serving as maid of honor was Alexandra Hebert. Bridesmaids were Allison Courville Hebert, Lorayne Bourgeois, Kathryn Falterman Rozas, Laurie Hargroder, Ariana Jambusarwalla, Amanda Scott Trapp and Katherine Scheffler Pyles.

Serving as best man was Jesse Piper. Groomsmen were Benjamin Chmurka, Bryan Chmurka, John Chmurka, Joseph Chmurka, Tyler Hebert, Evan Hebert and Byron Fuselier.

Leonard Bourgeois and Evan Trapp ushered.

A reception for family and friends was held at the Jackson Brewery Riverview Room in New Orleans.

Following a wedding trip to Europe, the couple will reside in River Ridge.
