Kathryn Michelle Crochet and Nicholas Wayne White were married Saturday, February 25, 2017, at Maison De Tours in St. Martinville. The bride is the daughter of Dwight Crochet and Amy Bradford Crochet of New Iberia. The groom is the son of Kenneth “Wayne” and Lou White of New Iberia. The Rev. Ric White officiated the 5:30 p.m. ceremony.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory-colored sheath silhouetted lace and English net gown with a scalloped hemline that fanned into a chapel train, featuring bateau-style lace edging across the illusion neckline with sheer lace sleeves. The full sheer lace back was accented with covered buttons. For her headpiece, she wore an ivory-colored lace trimmed tulle chapel length veil.

She carried a hand-tied bouquet of ivory-colored hydrangeas and roses, lily of the valley and greenery finished with ivory- and gold-colored satin ribbon streamers adorned with a yellow-gold and emerald Rosary.
Serving as matron of honor was Karleigh Crochet Sigur, sister of the bride and as maid of honor was Tate Lyn Rowell. Bridesmaids were Hanna Elizabeth Tucker and Katelyn Elizabeth Speights. Flower girl was Payton Leann Schulthies and ring bearer was James Mayo Chauvin.
Serving as best man was Brennan Michael White, cousin of the groom. Groomsmen were Stefan Michael Lopez, Daron John Schulthies and Michael Glen Rodrigue.
Ryan Christopher Sigur and Brandon Scott Anderson served as ushers.
A reception for family and friends was held immediately after the ceremony at Maison De Tours in St. Martinville.
Following a wedding trip to Antigua, the couple will reside in New Iberia.
