Morgan Alexandra Guidry and Alexander Kreig Breaux were married Saturday, March 18, 2017, on The Grounds of the Marsh House at Avery Island. The bride is the daughter of Peter and Karen Guidry of Prairieville. The groom is the son of Kreig and Tiffany Breaux of New Iberia.
The bride’s grandparents are Sam and Laura Smith Sr. of Livingston, Wayne and Joyce Guidry of Gonzales and Anna Guidry of Gonzales. The groom’s grandparents are J. C. and Lucille Breaux of New Iberia, Barbara Schwing of New Iberia and the late Tony Schwing.

Will Keller, the bride’s best friend, officiated the 5:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride wore an ivory-colored Martina Liana tulle skirt with the Sarah Seven Delancy short sleeve crop top.
For her headpiece, she wore a curving tie headband of metal leaves and rhinestone sprays designed by Bel Aire Bridal.
She carried a collected bouquet of greenery, wild flowers and succulents.
Serving as matron of honor was Aimeé Perrodin and as maid of honor was Nicole Guidry, both are sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Ashley Borel, friend of the bride and groom, Brooke Eschete, bride’s cousin and best friend, Melody Seward, bride’s best friend, Amanda Jackson, bride’s best friend, and Sydney Schwing, groom’s cousin. Serving as junior bridesmaid was Rosemary Davis, groom’s cousin and godchild. Flower girls were Alexandra Perrodin, bride’s niece and Addie Barras, groom’s godchild. Ring bearers were Avery Perrodin and Michael Perrodin, the bride’s nephews. The bridesmaids wore floor length gowns by After Six.
Serving as best man was Sam Breaux, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were John Barras, groom’s best friend, Caeleb Young, André Noel, Stephen Hogan, Canaan Frederick and Gentry Carrett, groom’s best friends and band mates.

Bryce Bourgeois, bride’s best friend and Mytrail Whitehead, bride’s brother, served as ushers.
A reception for family and friends was held immediately after the ceremony at The Marsh House at Avery Island.
Following a wedding trip to Seattle, the couple will reside in Lafayette.
