Mrs. Matthew Steven Stell

Alicia Nicole Behringer and Matthew Steven Stell exchanged wedding vows during a nuptial mass Saturday, March 18, 2017 in New Orleans. The ceremony was officiated by Father Mark Miley.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Scott Behringer of New Iberia. Mrs. Behringer is the former Kimberly Delcambre, daughter of Victor and Pearl Delcambre. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert W. Stell III of Laplace. Mrs. Stell is the former Carol “Annie” Brasset, daughter of Jeffery and Carolyn Brasset.

Escorted by her father, the bride was beautifully elegant in her magnificent gown. The bride wore a slim, allover lace gown of carefully crafted lattice floral lace falling over illusion tulle and soft netting. The fit-and-flare silhouette was finished with a sweep train and topped an over skirt featuring flowing panels of ivory-colored soft netting. Her bridal look was completed with a cathedral length veil in ivory-colored tulle. She carried a hand tied bouquet of mixed ivory-colored flowers and greenery accented by her great grandmother’s rosary.

Elise Madden and Natalie Kidder, friends of the bride, served as the matrons of honor. Bridesmaids included Sarah Simon, Jenna Beyt, Holly Tracy, Ali Lagarde, Lauren Barbalich, Megan Pridmore and Madelyn Roland. The flower girl was Amalie Delcambre.

Blake Gillies, friend of the groom, and Gavin Behringer, son of the bride, served as the best men. Bobby Behringer, Spencer Simon, David Stell, Kyle Treloar, Cory Treloar, Trevor Smith and J.D. Necaise were the groomsmen. Siegan Vergenal, Skye Vergenal, and Brandon Stell were the ushers. Breck Delcambre served as the ring bearer.

Readers were Joseph Speyrer and Michael Treloar. Gift bearers were Jeanne Roland and Brittany Schoen.

Following the ceremony, a festive reception was held at the JW Marriott’s Ile de France ballroom. There were many smiles, laughs and tears of joy as they celebrated the union on into the wee hours of the night.

After of trip to Italy, the couple will reside in New Iberia.
