Mrs. Austin Mitchell Bourque

Kellie Renee Nero and Austin Mitchell Bourque were married Friday, May 5, 2017, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Broussard. The bride is the daughter of Kevin and Stephanie Nero of New Iberia. The groom is the son of Mitchell and Janice Bourque of Lafayette.

The Rev. Louis Richard officiated the 7 p.m. ceremony.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore an A-line silhouette featuring a bateau neckline with scalloped lace detailing that continued to the V-shaped back. The waist was accented with a crystal and pearl belt. The dress featured a chapel train with scalloped lace.

For her headpiece, she wore a cathedral veil in ivory-colored tulle.

She carried a bouquet of ivory-colored hydrangeas, ivory and blush-colored garden roses and blush-colored peonies accented with silver dollar eucalyptus.

Serving as matron of honor was Emily Dionne Viator and as maid of honor was Tori Trahan. Bridesmaids were Kristin Ball and Courtney Bonin. Serving as flower girl was Gracie Frith.

Serving as best man was Riley Bourque. Groomsmen were Adam Hunter, Kalin Nero and Cody Meaux.

Michael Bourque and Chad Dionne served as ushers.

A reception for family and friends was held immediately after the ceremony at the Cade Community Center in Cade.

Following a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Prairieville.
