Daigle - Friend

Amy Ann Daigle and Brian “Casey” Friend were married on Saturday, April 29, 2017, at the Willow Wood Recreation Center in New Iberia. The Hon. Judge Gerard B. Wattigny officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Leland and Lisa Chauvin Daigle of Franklin. The groom is the son of Brian E. and Katherine Richard Friend.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory-colored mermaid styled satin gown with a sweetheart neckline and an overlay of lace.

She carried a handheld bouquet tied with an ivory-colored satin ribbon of unique orange roses, pink tulips, yellow stock, light pink astilbe, peach spray roses, peach ranunculus and succulents.

Serving as matron of honor was April Daigle Frederick, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Lauren Pillaro Comeaux, Kirsten Luent, Chelsea Constantine, Heather Phillips Bourque, Brooke Thibodeaux and Victoria Morgan.

Serving as best man was Brandon Thibodeaux. Groomsmen were Edward “Taylor” Friend, brother of the groom, Avery Seth Mestayer, Nick LeBlanc, Bryce Sauser, Coy LeBlanc and Miles Ayers.

A reception for family and friends was held immediately after the ceremony at the Willow Wood Recreation Center.

The couple will reside in Broussard.
