Craig Francis Romero and Pamela Hulin Romero of New Iberia announce the engagement of their daughter, Danielle Francis Romero to Avery Seth Mestayer, son of Albert Segura Mestayer and Carol Wirick Mestayer of New Iberia.

The wedding will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2017, at Desert Plantation in Woodville, Mississippi.

The bride-elect is a 2010 graduate of Catholic High School and a 2014 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bacheolor of Science in Early Childhood Education. She is employed at Johnston Hopkins Elementary as a kindergarten teacher.

The prospective groom is a 2008 graduate of Catholic High School. He is employed at Ernest P. Breaux as a telecommunications foreman.
