Mrs. Draper Alexander

Keralyn Marks and Draper Alexander were married Saturday, May 27, 2017, at the Youngsville Center in Youngsville.

The bride is the daughter of Danilla Stanton of New Iberia and Roy Marks Jr. of Jeanerette. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Earnie Alexander Sr. of New Iberia.

The Rev. Paul Godfrey officiated the 5 p.m. ceremony.

Escorted by her brother, Ka’Jon Marks, the bride wore a diamante beaded Alencon lace applique mermaid dress with flounced tulle skirt accented with horsehair trim and appliqued double shoulder straps.

The bride created her bouquet with an array of coral and salmon peonies and roses.

Serving as matron of honor was Tierra Hall-Bouie and as maid of honor was Arhonda Key.

Bridesmaids were Rhaya’ Marks, Ronnieka Ward, Rochelle Johnson, Brea’ Brooks, Ajia’ Collins, Candace Washington-Teno, Kaitlin Lewis, Asia Keal-Adams and Shearro Jacob.

Junior bridesmaids were Bralyn Jacob, Rheyna Tinguee, Cierra Johnson and Braesha Alexander. Miniature bride was Ja’Zyria McCreary. Flower girl was Julaya Williams. Serving as ring bearer was Da’Quan Keal Jr.

Serving as best men were Nick Alexander and Darren Broussard. Groomsmen were Christopher Jacob, Christian Jacob, Robert Ledet, Yum Nguyen, Dustin Frederick, Shelby Phillips, Josh Alexander, Harry Alexander and Courtney Landry. Serving as junior groomsmen were Calep Jacob, Trevionne Marks, Collin Jacob and Terry Williams. Miniature groom was Kingston Alexander, the bride and groom’s son. Chance Marks was the announcer and Brielle Alexander was the usher.
