Mrs. Zoel Allen III

Laura Cook and Zoel “Trey” Allen III were married Saturday, May 27, 2017, at The Gardens of Cranesburg View in New Braunfels, Texas. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Cook of New Iberia, and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benny Lissard of Loreauville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Zoel Allen II of Perryton, Texas. Joseph Flores officiated the 6 p.m. ceremony.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore an A-line ivory-colored tulle over ivory-colored gown featuring cap sleeves, a low bodice and layers of soft ruching throughout. Features included a diamante blossom-beaded grograin belt with a back zipper under sparkling crystal buttons.

For her headpiece, she wore a traditional chapel-length tulle veil with blusher and carried a round bouquet of silverdollar eucalyptus and dusty miller with blush pink roses and dahlias, lisianthus, white wormtail, seeded eucalyptus, white roses and small succulent. The bouquet was wrapped with ivory-colored ribbon.

Serving as matron of honor was Breanne Babin and as maid of honor was Emily Molina. Bridesmaids were Nicole Cook, sister-in-law of the bride, Laura Hatfield, Brianna Allen and Kiki Allen, sisters of the groom. The flower girl was Olivia Cook, niece of the bride. Ring bearer was Charlie Cook, nephew of the bride.

Serving as best men was Brendan Baker and Brett Watson. Groomsmen were Matt Campbell, Lael Hubbard, Landon Hatfield and Daron Davis.

Aaron Cook, brother of the bride, Bo Merrell and Miles Seybert served as ushers.

A reception for family and friends was held immediately after the ceremony at The Gardens of Cranesburg View.

Following a trip to Italy and the Mediteranean, the couple will reside in New Braunfels, Texas.
