ARLINGTON, VA – At its Twentieth Annual Members’ Meeting, held June 15 at the Association of the U.S. Army Building in Arlington, Virginia, the Army Historical Foundation recognized six books and three articles as outstanding achievements in writing on U.S. Army history.
General Gordon R. Sullivan, Chairman of the Army Historical Foundation, announced the winners of the 2016 AHF Distinguished Writing Awards. Louisiana author Steen Rabalais, a lawyer in Lafayette, was recognized for his biography, “General Fox Conner: Pershing’s Chief of Operations and Eisenhower’s Mentor.” (Havertown, PA: Casemate Publishers)
