Uhall - Brodnax

Katie Claire Uhall and James Terrel Brodnax were married Saturday, June 24, 2017, at Rip Van Winkle Gardens in New Iberia. The bride is the daughter of Mike and Tessi Uhall of New Iberia. The groom is the son of late John and Linda Brodnax, formerly of Berwick.

The Hon. Henry Charpentier officiated the 7 p.m. ceremony.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory-colored satin fit-n-flare gown from the Madison James Collection with ruffle detail at the bottom, accented by a pearl and crystal belt.

For her headpiece, she wore a simple pearl and crystal headband.

She carried a bouquet of pink calla lilies entwined with the rosaries of her late grandfather, Ted Uhall Sr. and her late grandmother, Corinne Hebert.

Serving as matron of honor was Janie Foco, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Monique Hernandez, Kayleigh Maturin and Ozaie Johnson. Kyla Brodnax, daughter of the groom, served as junior bridesmaid and Colt Thomas Foco, godchild of the bride, served as ring bearer.

Serving as best man was Derek Ribardi. Groomsmen were John Brodnax III, Courtney Poche and Aaron Ribardi.

Mason Brodnax, son of the groom and Gerald Crochet served as ushers.

A reception for family and friends was held immediately after the ceremony at Rip Van Winkle Gardens in New Iberia.

The couple will reside in New Iberia.
