Mrs. Nicholas Chastant

Hannah Simon and Nicholas Chastant were married Saturday, July 22, 2017, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Abbeville. The bride is the daughter of Elroi and Traci Simon of Abbeville. The groom is the son of Henry and Sandra Chastant of Loreauville.

The Rev. Matthew Barzare officiated the 1 p.m. ceremony.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a satin A-line gown with a cap-sleeve bodice featuring stunning lace and detailed illusion boatneck.

For her headpiece, she wore a floral lace edged veil featuring small scalloped edges and crystals.

She carried a bouquet of pearl white hydrangea, coral-colored lillies, ivory-colored roses with coral-colored highlights, peonies and assorted greenery decorated with a ribbon and rhinestone wrapped handle stem.

Serving as maids of honor was Cailyn Simon and Laura Couvillon. Bridesmaids were Jada Dorsey, Emily Leonard, Shayna LaSalle, Mary Beth Baudoin and Keigan Hanks. They wore a floor-length, charcoal-colored A-line silhouette gown with a sweetheart bodice and illusion halter neckline. They carried bouquets that matched the bride’s bouquet. The flower girl was Addison Hanks.

Serving as best men were Bryson Chastant and Tyson Chastant. Groomsmen were Cameron Simon, Cullen Crochet, Colton Pratt and Steven Sparkman. The ring bearers were Talon Hanks and Jaxon Hanks. The groom wore a steel grey coat and pants with a white tie and the groomsmen wore heather grey coats and pants with coral ties.

Evan Hebert served as usher.

A reception for family and friends was held immediately after the ceremony at the American Legion in Kaplan.

Following a wedding trip to San Antonio in Texas, the couple will reside in Meaux.
