ALL students and parents must attend orientation. Orientation will take place in the cafeteria and begin promptly. No one will be admitted after the doors are closed. Students must pay a $25 registration fee. (Cash or money orders only). The ACE Uniform Policy will be strictly enforced. Students will not be able to attend orientation if they are not in compliance with the program’s uniform policy. The make-up session for orientation will be held the first day of school on Friday, Aug. 4, at 8 a.m.

The total fees will be $50. This includes an ID card and lanyard, P. E. Uniform, student planner and registration fee. All checks should be made payable to Belle Place Middle School. The student’s name must be in the memo line of the check. Regulation parish uniforms must be worn for orientation. Schedules will only be given to students in correct parish uniforms.
Parent’s orientation will be held Monday, August 21, from 5:30 p.m.-7 p.m. Both 7th and 8th grade parents are invited to meet in the gym for a General Assembly followed by individual teacher meetings.

DELCAMBRE ELEMENTARY
Due to limited space students are not required to attend the orientation meetings. Parents will report to the cafeteria for a welcome meeting with the principal. Only parents and current Delcambre High students are allowed to attend orientation and students must attend orientation at the scheduled time for their designated grade only. Visitors will not be permitted.
The doors to the new gym will open 30 minutes prior to each orientation session to sell planners, IDs and lanyards, P.E. uniforms, spirit shirts, and parking permits. Schedules can be picked up following each orientation session. Complete school uniform and proper grooming is required.
New students may not register on orientation day. Proper documentation for registration is required.
All outstanding fees from the prior school year must be paid prior to orientation on Aug. 1.

Repeat Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior orientation will be held on the first day of school, Friday, Aug. 4.
Student orientation fees are $30. (No checks accepted; cash or money orders only.) This fee includes the student ID card, lanyard, student planner, schoolwide management handbook, and book locker.
Any student who does not complete their scheduled orientation will be assessed a $35 orientation fee for a makeup orientation.

ELEMENTARY

Parents and students must report to the classroom. School policies, procedures, school rules and discipline policies, provisions of the Code of Student Conduct, Teachers Bill of Rights, and Title I programs will be discussed. Students attending orientation must wear a school uniform. Parents must fill out emergency cards at orientation. ID card/lanyard/home-school communication folder fees $10. This is a mandatory fee. Replacement ID cards are $10 thereafter. All outstanding fees must be paid prior to orientation on Aug. 3. First time students attending Johnston-Hopkins Elementary School, if not registered previously, should register at the school’s office beginning Wednesday, July 19, through Wednesday, Aug. 2, from 8 a.m.-Noon for pre-teacher assignments. Proper documentation for registration is required.

A total of $30 in fees will be collected (ID card, lanyard, student planner/handbook, and book locker). No checks accepted. Cash or money orders only. Students must be in complete school uniform. Students without payment will be charged a $10 late fee and placed on the debt list.
Sophomore, Junior, Senior, and Hi Set/GED Student Orientation will be held on the first day of school. A total of $30 in fees will be collected (ID card, lanyard, student planner/handbook, and book locker). Students without payment will be charged a $10 late fee and placed on the debt list.
Students can begin purchasing parking permits on Monday, July 24, for a cost of $25. A parking permit is needed to park on campus the first day of school. Spirit gear and PE uniforms will be available for purchase at all orientations.

A mandatory $5 registration fee (cash or money order) is required of all students in Kindergarten through sixth grade. Registration for the Student Care Program may be completed during the orientation. Uniforms are required in order to participate in orientation.
WESTGATE HIGH
