Sarah Simpson and Jimmy Dupuy II were married Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Maison de Tours in St. Martinville. The bride is the daughter of Cindy Sargent of Fletcher, Oklahoma, and the late Michael Simpson formerly of Paris, Texas. The groom is the son of Jimmy Dupuy of New Iberia and the late Shirley Dupuy.
Rev. Darrel Jackson officiated the 6 p.m. ceremony.
Escorted by her mother, the bride wore a stunning More Lee Alencon lace-on-net over soft satin bridal gown. It featured crystal beading and a sweetheart neckline. This gorgeous feminine fit and flare had a sweeping train.
For her headpiece, the bride wore a handmade fingertip veil with trim made of lace and crystal beading.
Serving as maid of honor was Lindsay Camarena, sister of the bride. Serving as bridesmaids were Brooke Wagstaff, niece of the bride, Robby Pourciaux-Owens and Natalie Lopez. They wore wine-colored floor-length dresses with a sweetheart neckline.
Maci Dupuy, daughter of the groom, served as the junior bride and Kindyn Camarena, nephew of the bride, served as the junior groom.
Brennan Stoltz served as best man. Groomsmen were Gage Dupuy, son of the groom and William “Billy” Ware.
Following the ceremony, a reception for family and friends was held at Maison de Tours in St. Martinville.
After a wedding trip to Saint Lucia in the Carribean, the couple will reside in Youngsville.
