Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 30, 2017, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Raylen Jones, 4, who passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017, in New Iberia.

A gathering of family and friends will be at Pellerin Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Monday. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery.

Raylen is survived by his mother, Ashley Derouen; father, Raymon Jones Sr.; siblings Keelyn Ray Jones, Myles Jones, Ramon Jones Jr., Keenan Jones, Reese Jones, Kharleigh Jones and Mharleigh Jones; grandparents, Mark and Pauline Derouen and Cecelia Jones; great-grandparents, Gail Morvant and Vivian Derouen; and numerous aunts and uncles and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Ray Jones Sr.; great-grandparents, Paul Cassel Morvant, Billy Ray Derouen Sr. and Herbert and Fannie Landor; a great aunt Renee Burke; and uncles Gerald and Michael Landor.

Pallbearers will be Jakeem Lively Sr., Blake and Bryson Ambrose and Willie Jones.

Honorary pallbearers will be Christopher, Eric, Warren and Josh Morvant, Beau Derouen, John Polk and James Jones Jr.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to all of the family and friends who generously donated, especially Christie Morvant and Nicole Brown.
