Jaci Menard and Ross Wager were married Friday, November 10, 2017, at the Cade Community Center in St. Martinville. The bride is the daughter of Darryl and Deidra Menard of New Iberia. The groom is the son of Kerry and Sara Comeaux of Opelousas, and Johnny and Peggy Wager of Mire.
The Honorable Henry Charpentier officiated the 7 p.m. ceremony.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a lace covered sweetheart bodice and a tulle A-line skirt topped with beaded sash of crystals and beads.
For her headpiece, she wore a beautiful hair clip with pearls and beads that draped along her hair..
She carried a bouquet with eucalyptus, magnolia flowers and touches of baby’s breath accented in pearls. Her bouquet included her grandmother’s broach, entwined with her grandfather’s rosary. Lace from her mother’s wedding veil was sewn into the bouquet.
Serving as maid of honor was Taylor Genest, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sarah Leonard, Jena George and Jill Guillotte. Demi Alford served as flower girl and Easton Alford served as ring bearers, both cousins of the bride.
Serving as best man was Brent Tyler. Groomsmen were Parish Wallace, Stuart Genest and Al Gonzalez.
Tad and Reid Menard, brothers of the bride, served as ushers.
A reception for family and friends was held immediately after the ceremony at Cade Community Center in St. Martinville.
Following a wedding trip to Oklahoma, the couple will reside in Opelousas.
