Madeline Alyse Pellerin and Blaise Joseph Reed were married Saturday, November 25, 2017, at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Lafayette. The bride is the daughter of Ted and Annette Pellerin of New Iberia. The groom is the son of Keel and Pam Reed of Lafayette. The Rev. Steven LeBlanc officiated the 7 p.m. ceremony.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a stunning ivory-colored lace over almond fit and flare vintage gown with all over pearl beading and lace creating intricate patterns. The back of the gown featured detailed lace, covered buttons and
a cascading train.
For her headpiece, she wore a single tier, elbow-length veil with scalloped edging accented with lace and pearls.
She carried a hand-tied bouquet of Amnesia, Pink Mondial and Silverston Roses with snapdragons, seeded eucalyptus and ruscus.
Serving as matron of honor was Amy Pellerin Fewell, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jacqueline Judice, Michelle Ashcraft and Mallory Dionne.
Serving as best man was Toby Lejeune. Groomsmen were Mathew Hudzicki, Jordan and Dylan Pellerin, brothers of the bride.
Adam Fontenot, cousin of the bride, and Mark Beyt, served as ushers.
A reception for family and friends was held immediately after the ceremony at Warehouse 535 in Lafayette. Following a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple will reside in Youngsville.
