CENTERVILLE — Jeanerette High School and Franklin Senior High join host team Centerville High School and four other teams in the three-day Tournament of the Teche starting this afternoon at the high school gym at CHS.

Play begins at 4:30 p.m. today and Friday and at noon on Saturday. All games are slated for the high school gym.

Admission is $8 per person.

Houma Christian plays Central Catholic at 4:30 p.m. today to tip off the tournament. E.D. White takes on Jeanerette at 6 p.m. and Franklin plays Centerville at 7:30 p.m. South Terrebonne draws a first-day bye.

In each instance, the home team is listed second in the matchups.

On Friday, Jeanerette plays Houma Christian at 4:30 p.m., South Terrebonne plays Franklin at 6 p.m. and Central Catholic takes on E.D. White at 7:30 p.m. 

On Saturday, Jeanerette plays South Terrebonne at noon, Franklin plays E.D. White at 1:30 and Houma Christian plays Centerville at 3 p.m.
