Funeral Services will be conducted for Mr. Wilson Paul Bouillion, age 90, at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4, 2017, at Evangeline Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday with a Rosary at 7 p.m. The funeral home will reopen at 8 a.m. on Monday until service time.
A native of Coteau and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Bouillion passed away at 7:25 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017, at Carpenter House, surrounded by his family.
Mr. Bouillion was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a strong-willed man with a meticulous work ethic that would accept nothing less than perfect. He was employed with Intra Coastal City Dry Dock and Ship Building for 33 years as a welder. He enjoyed being outdoors, working in his garden and cutting grass, and he took pride in restoring and remodeling the house that he raised his children in.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Stella Hebert Bouillion, of New Iberia; stepson Rickie LeBlanc and wife Peggy of Coteau; two sons, Randy Bouillion and companion Trisha Fontenot, and David Bouillion, all of New Iberia; two daughters, Brenda Gary and husband Leroy of Lafayette and Janet Ponthier and husband EJ of Marksville; thirteen grandchildren, Danny LeBlanc Jr. and Sharon; Justin LeBlanc and Chelsea; Angel L.
Sallade and Chris; Britany L. Guidry and Ryan; Blaze L. Duval and Craig; Cali Bouillion and Ryan Meche; Leci Bouillion; Laurie G. Vanderbrook and David; Cory Gary and Brittany; Kylee Kilstrom and Adam Fine; Tyler Robicheaux and Brittany; Skyler Abney and Jordan and Tayln Robicheaux and Hope and six great-grandchildren, Armond Sallade; Luke Bouillion; Bennett Meche; Bowen Robicheaux; Baylon Charpentier and Mackenzie LeBlanc.
He also loved and spoiled his dogs Tootie and Nici.
He was preceded in death by his stepson, Danny LeBlanc Sr.; parents Telesmar and Laura Viator Bouillion; four brothers Wilton Bouillion, Skinny Bouillion, Amar Bouillion and Wilmer J. Bouillion; and three sisters Delores “Mim” Romero, Nola Romero and Sylvia Benoit.
Pallbearers will be Adam Fine, Ryan Meche, Ryan Guidry, Tyler Robicheaux, Talyn Robicheaux, Cory Gary, Jordan Abney and Justin LeBlanc. Henry Faciane and Jacob Faciane will serve as honorary pallbearers.
