Raymond Larson

Funeral Services will be conducted for Raymond Larson Sr., 66, on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 4 p.m. in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Hodges officiating. Military Honors will be provided by members of the Iberia Veterans.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, from 1 p.m. until time of funeral service.

A native of Leesville and a resident of New Iberia, Raymond went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 27, 2017 at 3:38 p.m. at Lafayette General Medical Center. He was a clerk for the National Guard for three years and served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. Raymond was an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Janet Schwab Larson; children, Raymond Lee Larson Jr. of New Iberia, Heather L. Holder and her husband Robert of Beeville, Texas, Nicole L. Noel and her husband Kevin of Lafayette, Paula L. Montalvo and her husband Marshel of Sunset; sisters, Barbara Viator of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Diana Kiser of Germany; brothers, Cliff Larson of Mississippi, Ronald Larson of Galveston, Texas and Leroy Larson of Wisconsin; grandsons, Zachary Noel, Logan Noel, Dawson Montalvo, and Sage Galland; granddaughters, Madison Noel and Arianna Larson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Larson and mother, Stella Comeaux Larson.
