David Allen Lohr

David Allen Lohr, 73, of Moss Bluff, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017, into the arms of his Savior.

He was born in New Iberia on June 2, 1944, to parents Roy A. Lohr and Myrtle Kelley Lohr. He enjoyed motor cycle riding, hunting, fishing and dancing to Zydeco music. He was especially proud of his military service in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his sister Ruth Viator of New Iberia; along with many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

David is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers William Lohr, John Robert Lohr, Lloyd Lohr and Guy E. Lohr Sr.; along with one sister Ester Lohr Hart.

Services will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff at noon with Pastor Dwayne Daigle officiating. Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff that day from10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Ragley.
