IPSO looking for shooting suspect

- IPSO is trying to locate 28-year-old Kenneth Gauthier, AKA "Yogi", who has been identified as the shooter from an incident on Sunday.
Investigators with the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office are searching for a suspect involved in a shooting that occured on Sunday in New Iberia.

IPSO announced Tuesday morning that they had obtained a warrant for two counts of Attempted Second Degree Murder in reference to the shooting that occurred around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, where two men were wounded.
IPSO is trying to locate 28-year-old Kenneth Gauthier, AKA “Yogi”, who has been identified as the shooter. Investigators with IPSO believe that Gauthier used an AK-47 semi-automatic rifle to shoot at a vehicle near the intersection of Anderson Street and Shot Street. The driver of the vehicle was wounded along with a nearby pedestrian.
IPSO states that Kenneth Gauthier should be considered armed and extremely dangerous. Anyone with information about Gauthier’s location can call the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office at 369-3711 or the Iberia Crime Stoppers Tips Line 364-TIPS.
