Goldie Marie Ford

A Mass of Christian burial will be held for Goldie Marie Ford, 63, at 2 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2018, at Fletcher Funeral Home with Fr. Bill Melancon, Celebrant. 

Inurnment will be in Holy Family Cemetery in New Iberia, at a later date. 

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018, at Fletcher Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until time of service. A rosary led by the Men’s Rosary Group will be prayed at 1 p.m. 

A resident of New Iberia, Goldie was born on October 10, 1954. She was a 1972 graduate of New Iberia Senior High School. She was also a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. 

Survivors include her four children: Eric Villere and wife, Shannon, Kim Eugene and husband, Wayne, Maria Ford, and Tiara Ford; her mother, Gloria Ford; her two brothers, Albert Adams and Gregory Ford; her sister, Karen Adams; her four grandchildren, Jaden Nicholas, Jardyn Villere, Ja’Niah Ford and Camari Antoine; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

She is preceded in death by two sisters Doris Ann Ford and Sandra Ann Adams. 

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Fletcher Funeral Home 609 W. Admiral Doyle Drive New Iberia, LA 70560.
