Mr. & Mrs. Kyle James Doré

Kayle Elizabeth Ventress and Kyle James Doré were married Saturday, February 24, 2018, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge. The bride is the daughter of David Ventress of Breaux Bridge and Penny Ventress from Breaux Bridge. The groom is the son of Danny and Valerie Doré of St. Martinville.

The Rev. Garrett McIntyre officiated the 6:30 p.m. ceremony.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a classic wedding dress with a cameo back with lattice detailing and pearl buttons, accented with cap sleeves and a deep V-neckline. The lace over the satin gown also featured sequin lace layers.

She carried a bouquet of hand-tied fresh white-colored roses, blush-colored roses, latte roses, hydrangeas and spray roses accented with willow eucalyptus.

Serving as matron of honor was Kristen Carle, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kassidy Angelle, sister of the bride, Ashley Ventress, sister-in-law of the bride and Paige Strentz and Shayla Barrett. Serving as flower girl was Stella Carle, niece of the bride and as ring bearers were Colton Carle, godchild of the bride and Braxton Angelle, nephew of the bride.

Serving as best man was Blaine Maturin. Groomsmen were Brandon Doré and Andrew Doré, brothers of the groom, Tyler Ventress, brother-in-law of the groom and Brett Delcambre.

Avery Eggart and Dillon Doré, cousins of the groom, served as ushers.

A reception for family and friends was held immediately after the ceremony at Warehouse 535 in Lafayette.

Following a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple will reside in Broussard.
