Mickey and Alicia Poirier of New Iberia announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristina Francis Poirier to Kyle Jude Bernard, son of Kevin and Catherine Bernard of Rayne.

The wedding will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018, at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Lafayette.

Kristina is a graduate of Westgate High School, a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she earned her bachelor’s degree, and a graduate of Northwestern State University where she obtained her master’s degree. Kristina is employed by UL Lafayette as an Assistant Director for International Admissions.

The groom-elect is a graduate of Carencro High School. He is employed by Slemco as a Substation Foreman.
