ERATH — A Mass of Christian burial for Eldred L. Landry, 83, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday April 14, 2018, in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Coteau with Father Brian Harrington officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery. 

Visitation will be in David Funeral Home of Erath, Friday, April 13, 2018, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. with recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time.

Eldred, a native of Delcambre, and a resident of Coteau, passed away Wednesday April 11, 2018, in her residence. She worked 20 plus years for Bruces Foods in the Coteau area before her and husband opened Chastant & Breaux Grocery Store in Coteau.

She is survived by her son, Larry J. Landry and wife, Angela; Ellen Landry, the wife of her late son Barry; her sister Lea Anna L. Richard; her grandchildren, Keisha L. LeBlanc, Dustin Landry, Chase Landry, Mindi L. Prioux and Katlyn Landry; and great-grandchildren Nathan Prioux, Natalie Prioux and Conner LeBlanc.

She was preceded in death by her husband Earl A. ”Pun” Landry; her son Barry J. Landry; her parents, Simonet and Edith Bouillion LeBlanc and her siblings Hadwing LeBlanc, Della L. Lopez, Dallas LeBlanc, Hargest LeBlanc and Stafford LeBlanc

Serving as her pallbearers will be Brady Lopez, Darrell LeBlanc, Craig Richard, Lance LeBlanc, Dustin Landry and Chris Prioux

Serving as her honorary pallbearers will be Nathan Prioux and Conner LeBlanc
