Along with their families, Shadava Gray and Jamaal Delasbour Sr. are pleased to announce their engagement. The wedding will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday May 19, 2018, at West St. Mary Civic Center in Jeanerette.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Peter Gray and the late Menola Lumpkin Charles. She is a graduate of Jeanerette High School. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Nicholls State University where she is studying to be a Dietitian.

The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Delasbour Sr. His alma mater is Jeanerette Senior High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree at Nicholls State University.
