Esther Lee Wolfe

A Memorial Service will be held for Mrs. Esther Lee Wolfe, 90, at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Fletcher Funeral Home with Rev. Adam Curley officiating.

Inurnment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery in New Iberia.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of service.

A former native of New Iberia, Esther was born October 10, 1927, in Robeline.  She passed on Monday, March 26, 2018, at her home in Houma. Mrs. Wolfe was employed at Dauterive Hospital for many years. 

She leaves in God’s care, her daughter Katie Wole Pierre of Houma; three great-grandchildren Rayne, Megean and Perry Pierre all of Houma and ten great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Wolfe; daughter Lillian Chew Wolfe and her parents, Louis L. Morris and Kate Lee Britton.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Fletcher Funeral Home  609 W. Admiral Doyle Drive  New Iberia, LA 70560.
