A celebration of life service will be held for Mr. Claude “Raymond” Todd, 95, at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tracy King of Westside Baptist Church as the celebrant of the services. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will resume on Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 2 p.m. Mr. Raymond served our great nation in the Merchant Marines during WWII and he was a man who was known for his conservative values. He was a dedicated employee to Exxon Mobile for 35 years. His faith and commitment to the Lord led him to become a deacon for Westside Baptist Church. Some of his hobbies included fishing and gardening. His vegetable gardens were a success every year and he was so proud to share the harvest with friends and family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Nannie “Tugar” Todd, his daughter Patricia Todd
Crisman and her husband William of New Iberia, his sister Helen Finch of Navasota, Texas, his grandchildren Todd Crisman, Karen Lee and Kristy Crisman; seven great grandchildren and two great- great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Una StraubTodd, and his first wife Tommie Mize Todd.
Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will include the following; Paul Ramos, Harold Jones, Geran Maples, Chris Hebert, Colby Hebert, Todd Crisman, Don Turnage Jr., Jack Larimer, Daniel Noel, Felix Ducrest, James Flournoy, Cody Lee, Cody Crisman, Austin Green, Keegan Lee, Blake Crisman, Tommy Lee and James “Jay” Rudolph.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in honor of Mr. Claude Todd to La. Baptist Children’s Home, 7200 Desiard St., Monroe, La. 71203.
