Trudy Romero

Private memorial services will be held at a later date for Trudy Peltier Romero, 71, who passed

away on Thursday, April 26, 2018, in New Iberia.

A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Ms. Romero was born on March 3, 1947 to Doles Pierre Peltier and Gloria Savoy Peltier. She worked as a secretary for the Iberia Parish School Board and New Iberia Senior High. She enjoyed reading, needlepoint work and most of all helping others.

Survivors include her mother, Gloria Savoy Peltier of New Iberia; daughter, Stacey Romero Hebert andhusband Shane of New Iberia; son, Mike Romero and wife Debbie of Carencro; sister, Renee Peltier Norris and husband Johnny of New Iberia; grandchildren, Brittni Marceaux, Calli Hebert, Shana Hebert, Alyssa Hebert, Bridget Tilley, Brooke Spears; and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Doles Pierre Peltier.
