A Home-going Celebration will be held for Mrs. Delores Moses Williams, 73, at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018, at Fletcher Funeral Home with Rev. Carroll Ray Crofton, officiating.

She will await the resurrection in Zion Travelers Baptist Church Cemetery in New Iberia.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday at the funeral home beginning at 8 a.m. until time of service.

A resident of New Iberia, she passed at 12:48 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2018, at Iberia Medical Center.

She leaves to cherish her fond memory, her husband of 33 years, Mitchell Williams of New Iberia; one daughter Cynthia S. Green of New Iberia; one son Antonio Carline of St. Martinville; two grandchildren Rena Thomas and Jeremy Smothers; two sisters Audrey Mae Moses Jeanlouis (Ronald Batiste) of Jeanerette and Dawn Segura (Brian Ardoin) of New Iberia; her caretaker Devan Vander; one aunt Marie Moses of Olivier; two nieces Jacqueline Jeanlouis and Edie Harrison (Terry); five nephews Darnell Jeanlouis Yvondia), Eddie Jeanlouis (Terry), Ronnie Jeanlouis (Almeta) and Alfred Robert Jeanlouis Jr. (Jessica) and Derwin Segura.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Moses and Eleanor Young Moses; two brothers Henry Moses and Alvin Moss Sr.; an uncle Leroy Moses, Leon Moses and Willie Moses; aunts Margie Thomas and Willie Mae Johnson and a nephew Wendell Jeanlouis.

Active pallbearers are: Darnell Jeanlouis, Alfred Robert Jeanlouis Jr., Eddie Jeanlouis, Ronnie Jeanlouis, Jeremy Smothers and Antonio Carline.

Honorary pallbearers are: Mitchell Williams, Bruce Gasaway and Abraham Mitchell.
