IPSO investigating 2015 homicide

On Sept. 17, 2015, at about 10 p.m., deputies with the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to 11202 Pecan Lane in reference to a male lying in the driveway, possibly deceased. Upon arrival, deputies observed an adult male, later identified as Robert Provost laying face down in the driveway. It was later determined that Robert had sustained an injury to the left side of his back and blood was located on his upper chest. Robert succumbed to his injuries, and detectives with the IPSO are deeming Robert’s death a homicide.
