Pamela Istre

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Pellerin Funeral Home for Pamela Ann Broussard Istre, 51, who passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, following a brief illness with lung cancer, on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. Pam is now with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

A native of New Iberia, she recently moved to Beeville, Texas. Mrs. Istre was born to Margaret Louise Matt and Donald Broussard Sr. She married Rodney Istre on May 20, 1994, in New Iberia. She was a devout Catholic.

She enjoyed cooking and playing video slot machines. The joy of her life was her husband, their children, and their grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Istre is survived by her husband, Rodney Istre Sr; children, Joshua (April) Postoe, Rodney Istre Jr., Jordon (Wendy) Istre and Joshua (Monica) Gary; brothers: Donald (Faye) Broussard Jr. and Jude Broussard; sister, Lillian (Kenneth) Manuel; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
