Summer basketball at ESA

After two weekends of team camps at New Iberia Senior High, summer basketball continues for the rest of the month as ESA plays host to its annual Triple Threat Summer League on Mondays and Wednesdays.
The summer league started Monday and continued Wednesday with games that started at 1:30 p.m. and continuing through the final games that start at 7:30 p.m.
Catholic High, Erath, New Iberia Senior High and host ESA all are in the camp. Vermilion Catholic, Comeaux, St. Thomas More, Ascension Episcopal, Southside High, Acadiana, North Vermilion, David Thibodaux STEM, Notre Dame and Lafayette Christian Academy also are slated to play during the duration of the camp.
Summer league action continues Monday with Catholic High playing Ascenison Episcopal at 4:30 p.m., Erath playing Vermilion Catholic at 6:30 p.m. and host ESA playing St. Thomas More’s second team at 7:30 p.m.
