The Teche Growers Association in conjunction with First National Bank of Jeanerette and Louisiana One Call (Louisiana 811) will be hosting a safety seminar on the importance of “calling before digging.”

The seminar will be at First National Bank in Jeanerette, Wednesday, June 27 at 5:30 p.m. (The address is 1331 Main St., Jeanerette).Representatives from Louisiana One Call, as well as agriculture and other industries will make presentations.

Louisiana has hundreds of underground pipeline miles crisscrossing the state and it is important that agriculture and industry leaders communicate to help keep the public sage and industry running accident-free.
