Charles Claville

Charles Claville, 85, a resident and native of Jeanerette, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at the Maison Teche Nursing Home in Jeanerette.

Visitation will be observed on Saturday June 30, 2018, from 10 a.m. until dismissal services beginning at 1 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home 604 Lovette Street Jeanerette, LA 70544. Burial will follow funeral services in the Morning Pilgrim Cemetery in Jeanerette.

Memories of Charles will forever remain in the hearts of his son Aubrey K. Claville; one brother Chester Clavelle of Chicago, Illinois; his caretaker Shondra Jordan and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Charles was preceded in death by one daughter; his parents, Robert Clavelle Sr. and Mary Pierre Clavelle; five brothers Segas Claville, Robert Claville Jr., Wilfred Clavelle Sr., and Frank Clavelle Sr. and six sisters Annie Mae Williams, Mildred Hogan, Alice Clay, Juanita “Hilda” Key, Hilda Clavelle, and Myrtle Rhine.
