Da’Zhalynn Amire Rankin

A graveside service will be held for Da’Zhalynn Amire Rankin, 2 months old, at  11 a.m. at  St. Edward Roman Catholic Church Cemetery in New Iberia.

A resident of New Iberia, she passed at 9:13 a.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at her parent’s residence.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, Dentrell Tray’mon Rankin and Sharaysha Nicole Jackson of New Iberia;  one brother Sai Jackson of New Iberia; four sisters her twin, Da’Zhala Rankin, Destiny Williams, Nyla Jackson and Emeri Jackson all of New Iberia; godparents Kierra Lee, Lakeisha Lewis, Erica Chevalier, DeShawn White and Marcus Alexis; maternal grandmothers, Yolanda Jackson of New Iberia and Francelle Anthony Broussard of Olivier; maternal great-grandmothers, Mildred Green and Georgia Broussard both of New Iberia;  paternal grandmother, Tracy Rankin of New Iberia; paternal great-grandparents, Selena Joseph and Freddie Zeno of New Iberia; three aunts Octavia Rankin and Brianna Jackson and Destinae Broussard of New Iberia; six uncles Kahydrick Rankin, Derrick Broussard Jr., Ladarius Anthony, Darren Countee, Dequincy Anthony and Reid Broussard; one great-aunt Shawnetta Jackson of New Iberia and a host of extended family. 

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Derrick Broussard Sr.; her paternal grandfather, Dennis Zeno and one uncle Daylin Broussard.
