Lynda Brown “Mama” Pourciau

Lynda Brown “Mamma” Pourciau, daughter of the late Robert C. Brown and Rosemary Brown, was born October 18, 1946, in New Iberia. She went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 29, 2018, and 10:31 a.m. 

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, meeting people and making new friends. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She will be greatly missed by everyone’s life she touched. 

She is survived by her sons Chad Pourciau and Shawn Pourciau; daughters Rosemarie Esc Pourciau and spouse, Colby Esc, Tina Leslie and spouse, Richard Leslie and Gena Lacour; grandchildren Chad II, Kinsey, Kayla, Lane, Kori, Karli, Shea`lee, Krystin, Chris, Brett, Torie, Tatelyn, Shay, Morgan and Kaylie; 17 great-grandchildren; sister Dawn Bourque and spouse, Allan Bourque; and brother Gary Brown.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert C. Brown; mother, Rosemary Brown; and brothers Charles Brown and Bobby Brown.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Hospice of Acadiana for the love and care they have provided to our loved one. 

Friends and family are invited to send condolences at St. Peter’s Catholic Church on Thursday, July 5, 2018. The service/mass will be from noon until 2 p.m.
