Everyone that knew Tammy, knew of her love for country music. She was a huge fan of Reba McIntyre and a local legend, Don Rich. She often listened to her music while enjoying her other pastime of arts and crafts. Tammy had many friends at the nursing home. She participated in the auctions and did her best to always inspire the residents. She could be found cheering and helping her friends while in therapy and offered spiritual guidance as well. Above all, her proudest accomplishment was being a mother and grandmother. She leaves a legacy of love that will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her two children, Darren James Daniel Jr. and his wife, Leah and Brittany Daniel-Racca; her five grandchildren whom she adored, Joseph Adam Daniel, Scotty Hunter James Daniel-Racca, Leo Randall Daniel-Racca, Raelyn Agnes Daniel-Racca and Lilyan Rose Daniel-Racca; three step- grandchildren, Cy Hulin, Landon Segura and Kadyn Savoie; and her siblings Gloria Morvant, Valerie Moore and husband, Jeffrey, Deborah Tassin and husband, David, Tedd Domingue and wife, Debbie and Sarah Alderman.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters Judy Domingue Leger and Rayette Morton.

Serving as pallbearers are DJ Daniel, Tedd Domingue, Kevin Rochon, Ivan Domingue, Pokie Palmer, Brennan Jackson, Scotty Daniel-Racca and Leo Daniel-Racca. Broc Bergeaux will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

The family would like to extend their gratitude for the compassion and guidance provided by the second floor staff of Iberia Medical Center, the staff of New Iberia Manor North and Heart of Hospice. A very special thanks to Tammy’s favorite nurses who went above and beyond and kept her in good spirits, David Doumit of Iberia Medical Center and Patsy Harper of New Iberia Manor North. Lastly the family wants to specifically thank Mr. Don Rich for the beautiful impact he made in Tammy’s life. The love for his music that she had and the kindness Mr. Don Rich showed will forever be remembered.
